This book is fantastic! If you haven’t read it yet, I really hope you love it as much as I did! 😊
For anyone who doesn’t know, this book is about a girl with selective mutism becoming friend with a deaf boy. She knows sign language but learns more so she can have proper conversations with him. It’s about their lives and times at school, it’s about growing relationships, it’s about navigating new people. I just really loved this and you should go read it too please.
It’s one of my favourite reads of last year! I loved it so much, though the proof copy didn’t have the sign language pictures (it also signs the numbers at the top of each chapter as well in this copy)
YES! SAME! I have the ARC as well but it’s not enough, hopefully the Australian copy will have the lovely end pages too. It’s so beautiful :’)
